Air Purifier Maintenance Method

Like water purifiers, air purifiers need to be cleaned regularly, and some need to replace filters, gallbladders, etc. to maintain their purification effect. The maintenance and maintenance of air purifiers depends on different brands and types of air purifiers.

1. Filter purifier:

1. The front filter (usually the back cover of the chassis) has been used for a long time, and will gather some dust, which will affect the air intake and the effect of air purification. Therefore, it is necessary to vacuum up the dust, or clean it with a rag, or even wash it with water.

2. Filters, some filters need to be exposed to the sun regularly to keep the purification efficiency better, such as activated carbon filters.

3. Deodorizing filter, the deodorizing filter of a few brands of air purifiers, in order to achieve the technical level of washability, it can be washed with water, that is, to maintain the purification efficiency and prolong the filter replacement cycle.

4. The ion generator is generally built-in and does not need to be cleaned. Better ion generators have higher working efficiency.

The dust filter or the dust collector plate in the air purifier should be cleaned frequently, usually once a week, and the foam plastic or the plate should be cleaned with soap and dried before use to keep the air flow unobstructed and hygienic. When there is a lot of dust on the fan and electrode, it needs to be removed, and it is generally maintained once every six months. Dust on each electrode and wind blade can be removed with a long brush. When the air purifier is not in use, it should be cleaned and packed into the box, and stored in a ventilated and dry place. Usually should pay attention to moisture, so as not to reduce the efficiency or damage due to moisture. [12]

2. Electrostatic purifier

Generally, only the electrostatic module or the dust collection module needs to be cleaned, and the method is simple. Wipe with a brush or rag, or rinse in clean water and air dry.
