Dishwasher Precautions
Apr 20, 2022| The dishwasher should be installed on the platform close to the faucet and the sewer, connected to the water inlet and drain pipes, and away from heat sources such as stoves. After placing it, adjust the relative height of the foot screws to make the whole machine meet the level requirements.
When placing tableware, first clean up the bones and vegetable residues on the tableware to be washed before placing them in the basket. The discharge should be correct, and it should not be placed randomly or overlapped, so as not to affect the cleanliness.
When using a dishwasher, do not use hot water higher than 70°C to avoid deformation or damage to plastic and rubber parts.
While the dishwasher is running, do not block the exhaust vents, and do not forcefully move or shock the dishwasher to avoid malfunction.
After washing, clean the dirt accumulated in the filter in time, and put it back in place after cleaning.
The inside of the dishwasher must be kept clean to prevent odors. When cleaning, the control switch, etc. should not be wetted by water, so as to ensure the insulation performance and avoid leakage.
Before not using for a long time, clean the dirt in the machine, wipe off the moisture, pack it, and store it in a ventilated and dry place.
Do not use regular dish soap, the foam will overflow the dishwasher.
Do not put too many dishes in the dishwasher. You need to leave some room for the sprinkler head so that it can spray water onto the dishes. Orient the dirtiest part of the dish towards the spray head, usually the middle. Do not mix steel utensils with silverware. Putting two different types of metals in the same damp environment is the most likely to cause them to rust. Try to separate bowls, spoons, and other dishes of the same shape. Otherwise, they'll nest together and the water won't be able to reach the various parts of the dish.
Do not put wood, cast iron, porcelain, crystal or hand painted dishes in the dishwasher. Wash them by hand. Use the dishwasher during times of the day when the water pressure is high, such as late at night. If you don't use a lot of water for other purposes (like washing clothes) the dishwasher will make the dishes much cleaner. If your home has hard water, add a little more detergent. Use the flush function to clean spots and help your dishes dry faster.
Don't put plastic items on the bottom shelf, especially when you're using the drying function. The heating unit can melt some plastics.
Do not wash dishes beforehand. In fact, dishwashers rely on food sticking to dirty dishes to maintain the proper acid-base balance in the dishwasher. However, large pieces of dirt should still be thrown into the trash beforehand.
